Samantha Jane Stosur (English pronunciation: /ˈstoʊzər/, STOE-zər, born 30 March 1984) is a professional tennis player from Australia specializing in both singles and doubles. She is a former world No. 1 on the WTA Tour in doubles with Lisa Raymond from the United States. In singles, Stosur has notable wins against former No. 1s Ana Ivanović, Jelena Jankovic, Serena Williams, Dinara Safina, Lindsay Davenport, Amélie Mauresmo, and Justine Henin. Stosur has reached one Grand Slam final (at the 2010 French Open) and is currently ranked World No. 7 in singles and No. 5 in doubles.
